End Table
At one point, I saw a photo of a floor that had large hexagon-shaped marble tiles dripping into wide wooden planks. It was gorgeous! I needed a new end table, so the image of that floor became my design inspiration. Since I had already done my coffee table with copper toned legs, I stuck with that theme. With this table, however, I used actual copper plumbing pipes, which were cut and formed into hairpin legs. my husband and I found small marble and stone hexagon tiles which were then fit perfectly to each hand-cut wooden plank, like a puzzle. This piece is currently unfinished-- we are still in the process of hand-staining the wood that will border the top of the table, grouting the tile, and tying it all together!
